Today marked the grand finale of our SDGs Fun Exploration Camp!
Each young explorer took the stage to share what they’ve learned over the past few weeks, showing confidence, creativity, and a growing sense of global awareness.
🌿 Ecology and the environment emerged as the most popular theme, with students passionately presenting on ecosystems, sustainability, and how to protect our planet.
🌹 From the heartfelt Mother’s Day Empathy Experience to the eye-opening journey into Space Junk, each team delivered thoughtful and engaging presentations that reflected their growth.
We’re incredibly proud of their teamwork, courage, and effort.
🙏 A big thank you to all the parents who joined us in person—we loved sharing this learning journey with you!

This week, our young SDGs explorers shifted gears—from learning to creating! 💡✨
本週，孩子們從學習者轉變為創作者！
Students reflected on everything they’ve learned over the past five weeks and began preparing their very own presentations for next week’s Final Showcase.
他們回顧過去五週的學習內容，開始準備營隊成果發表，將收穫轉化為精彩報告。
With support from our amazing teaching team—ESL teacher Gary, History teacher Susan, and Civics teacher Katherine—students brainstormed, drafted, and refined their ideas to share what matters most to them.
在 ESL老師Gary、歷史老師Susan 與 公民老師Katherine 的引導下，孩子們發想主題、撰寫內容，打造出最具創意與思辨的報告。
From environmental awareness to cultural values, their presentations are full of heart, creativity, and critical thinking. 🧠💚

Today’s sessions sparked reflection, discussion, and creativity, as students explored the value of gratitude and the urgent challenges of space sustainability.
🌟 Culture of Parent's Appreciation
In this heartwarming session, students reflected on how different cultures express gratitude to their parents. Through group sharing and personal stories, they discovered that love and respect transcend borders—and every act of appreciation counts.

在這堂溫馨的課程中，孩子們認識世界各地感謝父母的方式，並透過小組討論與分享生活故事，發現無論文化差異，感恩與尊重都是共同的語言。
🛰 Space Junkyard: The Past, Present, and Future of Space Debris
The second session launched students into the cosmos—learning about the growing problem of space junk. Each group examined historical events, current issues, and possible future solutions. Through presentations, they showed their vision for a cleaner, more sustainable universe.
🛰 太空廢棄物：歷史、現況與未來
第二節課帶領孩子們走入浩瀚宇宙，探討日益嚴重的太空垃圾問題。各組研究過去的事件、現今的挑戰，以及可能的未來解方，並發表簡報，展現出對於太空永續的創新想像！

Week 4 Highlights 💐🤰 | 第四週精彩回顧 💐🤰
Today’s SDGs camp turned emotional and meaningful, celebrating empathy, creativity, and appreciation through hands-on activities in honor of Mother’s Day.
今天的營隊課程溫馨又有意義，孩子們透過實作活動，學習同理心、創造力與感恩之情，一起歡慶母親節！
🎨 Mother's Day Craft Workshop
In a heartfelt first session, students crafted unique, handmade paper flowers to express love and gratitude to their moms. Each petal carried a message, and each creation was as special as the moms they’re made for. 🌸
在第一節課中，孩子們親手製作「獨一無二」的手工花獻給媽媽！每一朵花都藏著感謝與愛意，承載著孩子對媽媽的祝福與心意，充滿溫馨與創意。🌸
🤱 Empathy Through Movement – The Balloon Challenge
In the second session, students experienced a playful yet eye-opening activity: placing balloons under their shirts to simulate the difficulty of movement during pregnancy. Through a series of relay games and SDGs-themed obstacle courses, students not only had fun but also learned to appreciate their mothers’ strength and sacrifice.
第二節體育課中，學生們將汽球放入衣服裡，模擬媽媽懷孕時行動不便的情境，再透過一連串趣味闖關遊戲挑戰。孩子們在歡笑中，體會到母親懷胎的辛苦，也學會更珍惜與感恩。

Week 3 Highlights ♻️🚗 | 第三週精彩回顧
🔹This week’s SDGs camp focused on global citizenship and green transportation, combining language learning and environmental awareness through hands-on and minds-on activities.
🔤 Young Citizen Spelling Challenge
With Teacher Gary’s lively guidance, students played an exciting spelling game using vocabulary related to sustainability and environmental protection. While having fun, they learned key terms and strengthened their language skills.
🌱 EVs vs Gas Cars: Research, Poster & Presentation
In the second session, students researched the pros and cons of electric and gas-powered vehicles. They worked in teams to create posters and confidently presented their findings. This engaging activity blended critical thinking, teamwork, and communication—preparing young minds to think deeply about real-world issues.

本週營隊聚焦「全球公民」與「綠色交通」，透過語言遊戲與研究討論，讓孩子們在「玩中學、學中思」，進一步了解永續議題。

Campers made eco-friendly seed bombs to help green up the planet—learning how small actions can spark big change.

A quiz with a twist! Jump left or right for each answer—learning about sustainability has never been this active or fun.
⚔️ Castle Conquest
Our high-energy team game leveled up the classic castle battle—full of strategy, movement, and teamwork!
今天的課程結合了「動手做」與「動起來」，孩子們透過創意實作與活潑互動，讓永續學習充滿樂趣！
💣 種子炸彈大作戰
孩子們親手製作「種子炸彈」——這些小小的環保綠炸彈內藏著原生植物的種子，可以撒播在土地中幫助復育自然。從手中出發，點燃對環境行動的熱情！
🌳 植樹節知識跳跳樂
融合運動與永續教育的有趣遊戲，學生面對題目快速判斷環保知識是否正確，正確往左跳、錯誤往右跳，透過肢體活動深化記憶，學習充滿趣味又實用！
⚔️ 攻城堡團隊挑戰賽
經典遊戲「攻城堡」升級登場，孩子們在競賽中展現滿滿活力、肢體協調與團隊合作，場面熱鬧、氣氛滿滿。

🔹 From Check-in to Challenges – A Day Full of Discovery and Fun!
I-Ning Junior High School is thrilled to announce the launch of its dynamic SDGs Exploration Camp! From the moment students and families arrived, they were welcomed into an environment that ignited a passion for learning and global citizenship. With the support of I-Ning’s Board of Directors and International Education Division staff, led by the Junior High School Director, the transition was smooth and filled with excitement. Anticipation buzzed in the air as new friendships were formed, setting the stage for an extraordinary week of discovery.
💡Forging Connections - Ice-breaking
Teacher Gary guided students through fun activities, helping them break down barriers and quickly get to know each other.
🌏Igniting Global Awareness - SDGs Introduction
Students explored the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through engaging group discussions.
🚀Empowering Change Makers - Hands-on Exploration
I-Ning integrated engaging ESL activities with dynamic, experiential modules, equipping students with essential 21st-century skills.
Over the following Wednesdays, I-Ning International Department mentors will guide students through theme-based camp experiences, cultivating proactive, globally-minded individuals who are well-equipped to tackle global issues and shape a sustainable future. Join us in witnessing the profound impact of this transformative program!
宜寧小六營隊盛大展開！🎉 孩子們在家長陪同下，帶著對新環境的期待完成營隊報到。校方董事及國際部團隊以熱情的笑容迎接新生，國中部主任也迫不及待地為小七新生介紹營隊學習手冊和流程。充實的週三下午，充滿挑戰與驚喜，等待著每位學員來體驗！
💡 破冰時間
透過輕鬆的互動遊戲，Teacher Gary引導學員認識彼此，打破隔閡，迅速熟悉。學員們在歡樂的氣氛中建立起珍貴的友誼與合作默契，為接下來的營隊活動做好準備。
🌏 SDGs 啟航
學生們透過小組討論與生動案例，認識聯合國永續發展目標（SDGs）的多元議題。營隊也鼓勵學生發揮創新思維，並將所學環保知識應用於實作課程。
🚀 實作探索
宜寧團隊規劃了豐富的課程，結合ESL英語活動與主題式體驗，像是闖關和實作等，旨在培養學生的解決問題能力、團隊合作精神與語言應用能力。孩子們在動手操作中學會了多項技能，並且以輕鬆愉快的方式擴展國際視野。
